App Suite

Counting

The Tiny Town apps use repetition to ensure once children finish playing the app, they fully understand how to count from 1 - 20. This is achieved through not allowing children to progress to the next level until they have fully understood the one they're playing, meaning children will not count past five until they can count to five. Upon finishing the game, we want to ensure each child has mastered the skills taught.

Adding

Children will progressively learn how to add numbers and establish an understanding of the value each number holds. They will begin by adding dots together and will then slowly transition to numbers, allowing them to see and break down how the adding process works.

Postion & Movement

Position and Movement will help children gain an understanding of direction by identifying which side the ball is on and which way it is moving. This is a fundamental skill to have both in the classroom and in life.

Measurement

Children will develop an understanding of object sizing- both in theory and in reality. Measurement is an essential skill in a child's development and can assist them not only in the classroom, but in real-life!

Number Sizes

Children will progressively learn the value each number holds on the number line by choosing which number is bigger or smaller. Playing this will allow them to see and break down how the number line works. This is an essential skill used when subtracting, adding and counting.

Subtraction

In Subtracting, children will learn how to subtract numbers and establish an understanding of the value each number holds. They will begin by subtracting dots from each other and will then slowly transition to numbers, allowing them to see, and break down how the subtracting process works.

Naming Numbers

In Naming Numbers, children will gain an understanding of how to write the numbers used in maths with words. This is an important skill both in Maths and English.

Letter Sounds

In Letter Sounds, children will develop an understanding of the sound each letter in the alphabet makes. Understanding letter sounds is an essential part in children's ability to write, read and spell.

Alphabet Jump

Alphabet Jump is a simple arcade game that will teach children  how to say each letter of the alphabet as well as the order of letters.

Tiny Tales

Tiny Tales features a new, revolutionary reading system. Children can listen to words by touching the word or can hear the entire page read back to them by tapping in the top corner. This allows kids to hear, see and understand each word improving their ability to write, read and speak.
